that was outstanding....gotta love it is right.
hahahahaha...wow.
I must confess, I only watch baseball when my son is playing on one of the teams. But I did see this guy on the news and I've gotta ask, what was the point of all that . . . especially the crawling on the ground bit (LOL)?
I can understand a momentarily loss of composure, but ripping out bases, crawling on the ground and carrying on. Must be a guy thing, 'cause I really don't get it (smile).
makes lou pinella look like Mr. Rogers
And we wonder why children act the way they do, when we have PAID professional ADULTS throwing tantrums & being cheered on for it. (rolling my eyes)...in addition if he were a Brother security would have cut ALL those antics SHORT....
crap like that disgusts me....
lori & CAPcity,
seeing that you are members of the fairer gender, i'm not surprised that you don't see the *FUN* in the antics of this guy... it's what guys do!
but it's all good... i like women who behave/think like women... so i'm glad that the two of you are puzzled at our Neanderthal-like locker room support of the coach's antics!
Hey man want to thank you for your comment. Please continue to stop by. your opinions and views are more than welcome.
+1 for the infantry crawl and grenade toss. That was VERY creative.
You know what's really great? He's in the Braves system. The Braves manager, Bobby Cox is on the verge of breaking the all time major league ejection record. So, this guy is definitely going to be considered when Cox retires.
jay,
i guess this will be his audition tape when he gets called up to the Big Leagues! *smile*
HUGE sigh...yea, plez - u're right. i don't understand this aspect of the male persona. i wasn't raised around the kind of men who practiced nor encouraged this type of tom-foolery. matter of fact, my dad walked out of Blues Brothers when he took us to see it at the theater because he felt it insulted his intelligence AND our heritage....
oh well, glad it provided chuckles for someone...
He took it way too far. I understand adrenaline rush and the chaos of competitive sports, but as a brother who plays ball, I got to agree with the ladies on this one. I live in Atlanta so I had heard snippets about this incident, but thanks plez for providing the video.
The only question I have for anyone who supports this nonsense is, what would your children, wife, or mother think of you after a display like this? How could you possible justify this to someone who holds you in high regard?
And even though I hate to make it seem like everything is a Black or White issue, you know if a brother had clowned like this, he would be the subject of so much hate, and he would never ever get another job in MLB.
"Pyle!!!
Your ass looks like 150 lbs of chewed bubble gum!!!"
Gny. Sgt. Hartman to Pvt. Pyle in Full Metal Jacket
BTW
This is not a black vs white issue.
This is a "I need to lose 50 lbs and check myself into the psych unit issue".
I am MAN!! hear me roar!!
Exodus,
well, i'll leave race out of it, since if he was Black, he wouldn't have been considered for a MLB Manager's job even if he didn't throw a tantrum! *smile*
i just thought is was hella funny!
David,
that's a good one!
thanx, plez for showing me a slice of men that i need to learn to simply smile politely when he's laughing uproariously and go refresh his beer while i take a shot of jack. drink up, this - ish gets funnier. Men...gotta luv ya! LOL!
CAP,
you're a gem! *smile*
